This last sunday, or yesterday , I was fortunate to be able to show some new pieces and work with some fabulous women as well as get to know some others in the creative wedding industry.
It was a ton of work, and I always forget how much it is, but it's always worth it and so much fun to finally show people what you've been slaving away for in our "tree house" studio. I say tree house because it isn't actually a tree house but seems like one because the windows are on the floor and we're sitting above them. This sounds weird, but it's kind of fun and the other night when we were there, we saw a dad hoisting up his little girl towards us. At first we thought it was strange and maybe we knew him, and then we remembered we are working with flowers and dresses, and of course a little girl is going to be excited about that and want to see more. I'm almost 30, and I still get excited about that!
Above are all the gowns I showed, moving from Left to Right we have: the Gardenia Gown, Isadora, A new one that has yet to be named, the Calla Lilly Gown with new Ballerina Knit Top, a new linen skirt with a 1900's blouse, my new lace sheath gown that still needs a name, and the Peony. I have a few more at the shop, so please feel free to come by and try one of these gowns on.
